Talking 320d M Sport Coupe E92 - Price Advice.

Hello all, my first post ect...

Looking for a bit of advice on an E92 320d M Sport Coupe that I'm going to see tomorrow morning, and was looking for some opinions on a reasonable price to offer. Guy has already told me he will give me 10k for my TT trading it in. No fianance will be involved, just my TT then cash.

The car in question is this:

2007 07 Reg BMW 3 SERIES 320d M Sport
Metallic Sapphire Black
9000 miles
One Owner
Full History
Black Dakota Sports Leather
Xenon Headlamps
Parking Sensors
Privacy Glass
Partial Electric Seat
19" M-Sport Alloys
BMW Warranty Until 2010
WAS £25955 NOW £24,950

As you can see, advert says it has dropped 1k, so now £24,950.

Firstly, does this seem reasonably priced to some of you who know these cars better than myself? Thinking of asking if he would take 24k for it, or chancing my arm with 23.5k.

Never been very good at this haggling lark TBH! Any advice on this would be mucho appreciated!

Creepy Coupe on here is selling his 320d M-Sport and it looks like it's just come out of the box.

OK, you might have to sell your TT privately but I've seen Del's car and it's mint.

If you are a cash buyer I take it that it is not a company car??

There is no nav on the car, and it seems a little overpriced.

I would rather pay £26k for a fully loaded 335d SE, and they are out there I promise you, they may be advertised at £28k but you will haggle down to £26k.

Have you searched autotrader and BMW approved cars to see what the best price is out there, once found you want to knock another grand off that imho.

I'd go in lower than £24,000. More like £22,000. It is over-priced. Nice spec but not great. Offer £12,000 plus the TT.

Be prepared to walk away. I did, and they phoned back the next day and we did a better deal.

I was offered £22k for my 320d touring against the 335 at £28k, I said I wanted £23k for mine and would pay no more than £26k for the 335. They came back the same day and said yeah.

Is the coupe a 177bhp efficient dynamics car??

if it isn't then I would look for a 57 plate, hell of a difference between the 2.

57 plate efficient dyanamics, but an auto, which is quite sort after and not many about.

The 335 was a coupe, oh and a 2007 56 plate.

All coupes are 177bhp.

I'd offer them 12k & your car and take it from there.

Only Lthr, 19" wheels & Tints are extras rest are standard kit.

Thanks for the replies folks, will see how the test drive goes and will then consider the max i'm willing to goto. Hopefully get him down to at least 23.5k anyway, unless I fall in love with the thing and cave in before he does!
