blacklines DIY

hi, i've already read the DIY for the blacklines and i know this is probably a stuipd question but i was wondering how to unplug the power source from a light. there are two little black push-ins that i guess you push in to release the power cords but for some reason its not coming off even when i nudge it around a little. can anybody help me? thanks.

Just push in the little tiny button and pull it back. It is pretty easy.

pull it out? or pull it towards the body?

use your thumb to PUSH it in, then using other fingers to pull on the wires.
