We have all seen the SSTT make power because it does. All I am saying is that it could've been done in a cheaper way. Electronics are electronics, current is current and voltage is voltage, wether in analog or digital it circuitry it makes no difference. If you can manipulate the temperature and pressure inputs via the TMAP sensor of a boosted motor, you can make more power because you can fool the ECU to think that it can boost higher. Using a microprocessor chip or resistors will reach the same goal. Transistors can be used as resistors too. Chips have transistors.

Now as far as Juice box is concerned, you can never go wrong because it is the most problem free tune there is. Bar none. Some people like to argue this point but anyone who spends enough (too much) time on any of these forums can tell you that. Terry will come back from the dead to help you if you have a problem with your JB. Hell, he helped me with my V2. Now I only run JB products and I have run them all, except SSTT. Anyways, my point is when you combine the aspects of an Aggressive tune, Reliability, and best Customer Service on the planet, you can never go wrong.
Thanks XLR8MF,

I just didn't understand how each individual system worked and differed from each other but I'm starting to learn more as I parse through everything. I was more or less apologizing to the OP for the unintended thread jacking that ensued; haha. I've been in IT for 15+ years so once I learn up I'm sure I will know more than those that were laughing at me.

The JB seems to be the best bang for the $ from what I've seen and read. I hope JB3 comes out soon, I'm itching for a software tune.

I never win free stuff!

The JB3 is really headed in the right direction, and although I generally prefer to do my own tuning via standalones or flashes (depending on vehicle), if Jim C.'s Shark Edit turns out to be vaporware, I'll be sticking with my JB2H or going JB3 (most likely would go with JB3).

BMS takes a practical approach in design of their products. It shows in their tunes, O2 sims, intakes etc. Much of this stuff I would have no problem designing and making myself, but Terry prices it all so well, why would I ever bother? It simply would not be worth my time versus just buying these solidly developed yet fairly simple products.

Months of ownership, very good dyno results, and not even a single limp or code thrown ever, even in the Hawaiian heat on 92 (10% ethanol) gas with JB2H. JB3 is going to be just as solid when released, without making paying end-users into limping beta-testers.

Highly unlikely being they just recently announced (first time in history) the 0.9% deal going on.
