LED dome light bulb flickering
Hey internet friends, wondering what to do about this dome light that that won't stop flickering. I changed the bulb (LED 194), and changed the screw in carrier, and it keeps flickering. Incandescent type bulb works fine. Presuming the carrier isn't making good contact with the housing, but how to fix that otehr than swapping out the entire thing. Suggestions?

If you are talking about T10 bulbs I think its a bulb issue itself (cheap Chines bulbs). They get very hot, I think that impact bulb components to fail.
These were flickering for me too: These seems to be working without flickering so far (though they don't shine directly downwards): Last edited by Hotter; 11-11-2023 at 04:46 AM.. |

Thanks, Hotter! I suspected a bad element first, but then swapped it out for another one working in the door lights, and same problem. I tried different screw in holder from the other spot as well, no luck. I do like those ones you mentioned, what's the brand? Mine are SiriusLED which have always worked fine for me, but I don't mind looking updated designs. But I think the problem is in the fixture housing, not the bulb.
