At last a manufacturer that understands what real driving enthusiasts want.
Not a ridiculous 1000hp tank for traffic light heros but a lightweight performance car for those that can actually drive & want a car that is both enjoyable & capable.
Nice to see a manufacturer not taking the simple route of just throwing more battery & more weight at a car & spruking about hp & 0-60 figures for the shallow amateurs that are impressed by such.
Still not Alpine A110 levels of enjoyment but definitely a step in the right direction & a light at the end of the bleak EV tunnel. Hopefully they will ignore the US market & it won’t be ruined by the soccer mum style wants/needs of that region. This is definitely the EV Lotus should have built instead of the Evija.

It looks great and classy, but I highly doubt they will be able to build a very lightweight EV with a usable range and modern safety standards unless they are aiming for next-gen technology like solid-state batteries. In this case, production by 2026 is very questionable. For example, the current leader - the barebone Tesla Model 3 Standard RWD, with a small ~52kWh battery pack and an ideal range of around 240 miles, weighs 3,554 lbs. This weight is significantly lighter compared to every other EV on the road. So unless they are using some groundbreaking technology, I highly doubt it will be much lighter.

Very beautiful car
Just saying:
Polar Moment of Inertia
The farther away from the CG the heavy components are, the slower the vehicle will want to change direction.
Batteries at both ends has a cost.
