Please Help: N54 LIMP MODE
Hi,
Car had a burning smell coming from engine bay / hot side. I figured it was a leaking valve cover so I bought a valve cover from amazon and replaced with new gasket. Burning smell is still there however now I have the following codes that are persistent after trying to clear multiple times and come up as soon as car tries to get boost. My assumption is that one of the wires may have been damaged when doing the valve cover. Anyone that is familiar with the wiring may chime and pin point which wire is most likely to cause these codes after doing a valve cover job? My priority is to first address the limp mode codes then deal with the burning smell. Might have to re-do the valve cover and buy an OEM Valve Cover. Codes: 3100 2E68 29F4 29F5 2AAF |

Im thinking one of the cables that route by the fuel rail maybe damaged from changing the valve cover, that is triggering a Knock code & Fuel code. Just don’t know which cable exactly lol without changing them all.
