BMW E90 wont start

Hello, I have a bmw e90 320i with the N43 engine and while i was driving it stopped working and shut off. Its been to the mechanic 3 weeks now and he told me that it was the ecu then a broken lamda sensor and now a broken fuel injector. Did anyone had any similar situation? and what was the fix?

We can't be any help without more details. Fault codes, ideally.

Sounds like the mechanic doesn't know what they're doing, though...

Well the car threw 2weeks before it stopped working a blinking engine light for 5 minutes and then disappeared (the obd scan was misfire in cylinder 1) but after that there was nothing even when it turned off it had no lights in the dash and no fault codes

What are you using to scan for codes?

Those are some completely different parts and way too long. Might be worth the higher shop labor to have the genuine dealership take a look at... could be cheaper than throwing parts at it for months on end

Update: today I got the car from the shop he told me he replaced the injector from cylinder 1, all 4 spark plugs and the coils but the car now turns on but it has a consistent blinking engine light. I am thinking maybe it’s because he didn’t programmed the new injector to the car. Any ideas of what else can it be ?

No. No ideas until you get fault codes. It's pointless guessing.

There is only one fault code P0301 which is for misfire in cylinder 1.

I bet protool/inpa/ista would tell a more complete story.

Good luck with it.
