Hi everyone,

I can see my status of Product Begins in MY BMW online. I was wondering if anyone know how long I can receive car in near future? Dealer told me about 6 to 8 weeks since 12/01/2023.

I can't go back to my timeline / progress bar to see all specific dates.

But here are dates I can confirm (all in 2023):

Oct.5 - Locked in my build/config with my sales rep.
Nov.9 - Ready for Transport
Nov.23rd - Arrived At Dealership
Nov. 28th - Ready for Collection

Location: Texas, so YMMV depending on transport distance

Notes: I did not have any carbon options, so I assume all my parts were not impacted with any supply delays (if that's still an issue to-date).

In summary, it took my car ~ 1 month between putting in my order and the car being ready for transport. Since I don't know when the manufacturing started (I wasn't tracking that closely TBH), your dealer's 6-8 week estimation sounds pretty spot on with mine.

For the most part, that timg is right on with the caveats of the upcoming holidays and if you have anything that could cause build delays (cf buckets, port installed items, etc).

Yes,I complete customized order then dealer found one allocation for me and gave me a product number 3 days since I sent my order summary.
