Time to change brakes e92 335d
Hi All,
My brakes are now tired... I retroffited 335d brakes. So front is 348. Pads: EBC DP42006R Yellowstuff Disks: Sport Z 150.3441.52 Zimmermann Braided Godbridge lines The pads have plenty of meat but disks are no longer available So again I need to change. Disks will stay the same. I had a pair bought for mate but they been gathering dust. I do not have issue with EBC yellows however There is a Ferodo DS2500 (FERODO RACING FCP1628H). Will they fit? Will they bite simillar to ebc from cold or different? Any other comments? Thanks Does |

I have an E92 2006 335d SE and have the Brembo 09.A599.1X (bought from Autodoc) fitted to the front with Ferodo DS2500 pads. Used Brembo HP2000 pads before and I find the DS2500 pads have more modulation over a greater degree of heat parameters than the Brembo pads. Also, the HP2000 pads I needed to 'bed them in again' if I'd not done any spirited driving or high speed braking with them. Not had any of those issues with the Ferodo. I've got the same set up front and rear now and although they bite harder when they're hotter there's still no issues from stone cold. I hope this helps a tad.
