Cannock is correct, it would be the equivalent of adding a 3mm spacer behind an ET25 wheel. Brake clearance between the wheel spokes and the brakes would improve by 3mm all else being equal (if the designs were the same with identical spoke profiles et c).

I have the 19x9.5 et25 square and added 5mm spacers, so it’s now an et20. Looks amazing with the ZTK fender flares on 265/35’s.

Looks good!

I see you have 255 and 265. Just curious why you didn't go with a square setup?

Thanks, ultimately went with staggered setup over square for relatively minor reasons. Slightly better caliper clearance up front, slightly cheaper tires, slightly lighter weight up front and wanted to keep handling characteristics closer to factory setup.

Question for you, I’m assuming you went with aftermarket TPMS, perhaps the Huf Intellisense TPMS from Apex? Were you able to use automatic mode when resetting tpms in ID8 or did you have to put it in manual mode? It will work in automatic mode but it disconnects after maybe 15 mins of driving. I have to keep it in manual mode it seems.

Also, the OEM anniversary centercaps fit a bit loose on my wheels, you can spin them a bit with your hand. I had to put some heatshrink on the center cap tabs and a few dabs of hot glue to keep them solidly in place.

Below is the config I went with, not too sure about the brand name, but it was from the Apex group buy.

I didn't use any mode (iD7). I simply took the wheels, tires, and TPMS to Discount Tire and then brought everything home and installed. It was seemless.

However, after rotating the tires when returning from a 2,500 mile road trip (where I first noticed the clicking halfway through the trip), the car did ask to perform a reset, which I did while driving a mile or two.

Same here, but after several thousand miles, and speeds up to 157 mph, they've stayed in place.

Expert@ApexWheels Thanks for the thread! Question for you guys. The best fitment for non-ZTK with all-season tires. 9.0 or 9.5? I’m on your website looking. I got my car last week

Thanks in advance

OK Tom, your Black Friday sale sucked me in on a set of staggered (9/10) SM-10s in satin black--should match nicely with my white/back M240i.
I have been looking for a new set of wheels since I got my G42 back in May '22, and finally settled on yours given it was honestly the only ones I could find that had a confirmed fit with the ZTK package, were reasonably close to OEM on the offsets, and had a price that was not going to break the bank.
I looked at Beyern, TSW, BBS, Motegi, Axe, Bolo, MSW, ... the list goes on.

Already swapped over my Yokohama Adavn Sport A/S+ with 245/40R19 up front and 275/35R19 in the rear and figured I would keep my all-seasons on the 893M rims and put my OEM summer shoes on the new Apex rims. Then get some new summer tires in another year or so in the A/S sizes I am running (I like the wider tires).

Do you know if anyone has fitted-up your SM-10 w Yoki Advan Apex V601s in 245/40R19 / 275/35R19?

Obviously I have some time since Spring in CO will probably not come until Apr and it looks like I have one more season on the Michelin PS4S*s.
Thanks for the thread.

This setup should work well for your 2 series. I'd recommend 245/40-19 front and 275/35-19 rear for the tires as It'll keep things xDrive compatible and work well on those respective wheel widths. Thanks for picking up a set!

I haven't seen anyone running that particular tire on these wheels on a 2 series that I can recall, but it should work well. ZTK cars have plenty of margin visually so I wouldn't anticipate any issues with the setup. You may end up wanting to add 3 or 5mm spacers for aesthetics, but I don't think they'll be needed for fitment.

Hi guys!
How you think, in theory, with yours wheel setup
19x9" ET25
19x10" ET38

Is it possible to install tires in this specs for Xdrive:
Front 275/35/19
Rear 305/30/19
Or it will too wide & will be rub arches ?

Bcs wanna maximally wide tires without playing around with the camber

That setup both is not compatible with xDrive and wont fit on the 2 series. That could work on a G87 M2 with different wheels, but isn't one that you'd be able to fit on a relatively stock G42. You can find what we recommend for your car here: https://apexwheels.com/fitment-guide...-fitment-guide

Starting to think about a new set of wheels/tires for my '22 G42 xdrive, non-ZTK, and after going through this thread, I think I want to go with a square setup. I am stock height and not planning to do any lowering anytime soon. How wide of a wheel can I fit? 19x9.0 sounds like a sure bet, how about 19x9.5? Would I have clearance issues?

Also, looking at TPMS sensor, Huf UVS7050-RDE077 looks like the right part to go with the wheels. What am I in for as far as programming? I think I saw some posts that the car can discover them on its own, is that true? Or do I need a tool to program them in?
