Lost Song Info on Radio

Ok...I used to be able to see info on some Fm stations regarding Artist and Song that were playing. Now I just get station id.
I tried reviewing audio settings to no avail. Any ideas?

I believe you have to enable the RDS from the idrive. You probably unchecked it accidentally

Could it be dealer sneaked in some programming during last visit?

i have i-drive so i dont know what it looks like without it. I know on my 2000 528 that i just sold (no idrive) there was a button that said RDS.

Silly me!

I found it most likely the same way I screwed it up the first time.
I hit the 'set' button on radio trying to add a station to memory.
Lo an behold there was a display box with 'RDS' unchecked.
I selected it on all is well again.
