Custom LED Fog Lights
I'm planning on purchasing an Amuse front bumper for my 335i, but I don't want to lose my fog light functionality. I'm planning on adding LED strips to the top edge of the fog light grilles and wiring those to the stock plugs on the car, but they will likely throw codes. Does it make more sense to just attempt to code out any errors that show up, or to add in a resistor when fabricating the wiring? With either choice any guidance or direction to similar posts is much appreciated.

Sorry to say, but just adding LED strips to the bumper will be a purely decorative element and not a replacement for fog lights.
If you want to teue fog light functionality (i.e. see in low visibility conditions) and nit just oretty to look at in the parking lot, get true fog light projectors and mount and aim them correctly. |
