Resetting transfer case adaptation with Autophix 7910
I just changed the transfer case fluid on my 2013 E92. I am now trying to reset the system. I have an Autophix 7910 scan tool, which has the capability to do this. However, it keeps giving me an error. Here's what I am doing:
First I selected "VTG Transfer Case": Then "Oil Change": Then this screen pops up. I assume "Switch on Terminal 15" means turn on the ignition. So I pressed the start/stop button, keeping my foot off the brake and clutch, so the engine does not start but the car is turned on. Then this screen, and I pressed the "OK" button: Then this: And then this: I've gone through it a few times and keep getting the same result. Has anyone successfully used this scan tool to reset your transfer case? Any tips appreciated. Last edited by MtBMW73; 12-23-2023 at 04:52 PM.. Reason: typo |

many of these china scan tools do not work on cars especially BMW. Thats why Bimmergeeks perfected Protool as an option to ISTA.
