M3 Paddle Shifters for 335is DCT
Anyone change out their stock 335is DCT paddle shifters for the M3 ones (paddle AND module).
How do you like it? I have the original Nelson Racing Wheel extended paddles with their adapter and I hate it. The paddles are flimsy and the adapter is cheap and flimsy as well. Even though they are extended, you can't use all of the length because they won't register the shift unless you click on the paddle dead center. Looking for something that is shorter and will register the click from any position when pushing the paddle.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but a question for anybody who has installed M3 paddles on an LCI car that has paddles like this:
And replace them with those: Do you need anything else or do the M3 paddle shifters work plug and play? |

You'll just need to try and see. It should fit just fine as long as its E9X 335i or 335is vs. E9X M3.

Wow, I might have stumbled onto something interesting.
So if the LCI shift paddles look exactly like on the picture that I posted, it could mean that the shift paddles from the G-series M cars should fit: I wonder if anybody has tried that and can confirm it? EDIT: After googling, it seems to me that the paddles on the E9x LCI cars actually look like this rather than the picture above: EDIT 2: Bingo! https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1358509 On E-chassis LCI cars there is a removable surround and the paddle itself is what it looks like on the first picture that I posted, meaning that a lot of different F and G series paddles can be installed. I also found this, which is an adapter so you can use the M-DCT paddles: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool...dapter-dct-e90 Last edited by Raghza; 11-15-2023 at 06:09 AM.. |

If your car is LCI (which it seems to be), you can use any OEM or aftermarket paddles for cars with 8HP gearbox (F and G chassis). Read more here: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1358509
Or you can use this adapter: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/tool...dapter-dct-e90 This allows you to install the standard DCT paddles (including E92 M3 ones). |
