Pre-LCI to LCI Centre Console
Does anyone know if the trim parts are the same between LCI and pre LCI?
I've got an E92 that I'm going to do a NBT retrofit to. I need part 51169170931 to house the controller and to match my piano black interior trim, but some parts of the internet make reference to LCI and pre LCI differences (granted not for E9x) so I'm wondering if anyone can confirm before I order all the wrong trim bits |

If you are getting that specific part number, then that will be for an LCI trim with the more rectangular opening for the iDrive controller (which is what you want).
If you are ordering by just pictures and description, just make sure the iDrive controller opening is the more rectangular (LCI) one and not the more circular (pre-LCI) one.

I'm aware the hole shape for the controller is different, thats why I'm ordering, I just want to know if the trim piece will fit into my car or not.
