335d DEF Tank Repair

Hi all, my 2011 335d has a faulty level sensor in the DEF tank. The no-start counter is down to about 450 miles.

I know the regular fix is replacing the tank, but that's $3k for just the part. Has anyone had experience using the XeModeX repair kit or the mail-in repair service?

The car is at 155k miles so well beyond any warranties or recalls.

The other option is to delete the whole system, but I'm having trouble finding anyone advertising the reprogramming service. Does anyone have experience/recommendations within a 450 mile radius of Hampton Roads, VA?

Can you publish codes?
If active code is for active tank level sensor - perhaps you can use OE part F01C600252

I don't have the codes on me, but the issue was a bit worse than I initially thought. The SCR module on the active tank and the level sensor on the passive tank are both bad.

Quoted about $5k to fix (local BMW shop), and $4800 to do the delete with a new catalyst installed to keep from coal rolling. Will probably do the latter.
