Part Seen During Oil Change - Cause for Concern?

Hey all -

I performed an oil change last night and found a metal part loosely wedged near my car's front jacking point. Does anyone recognize if this part came from an E92 or is it road junk that may have gotten wedged up there?

There are two of them, they attach to the subframe and let you screw the plastic belly pan onto them.

Hopefully the other one is still there! You can obviously survive without them, but the belly pan could sag in the middle a bit. Good to replace when you get the chance.

Your bracket is fine. They attach to the subframe with a pressed in plastic expanding nut (#3 in the diagram) that fails rather easily. You can see it's still attached to your bracket.
