FS: E90/E91/E92/E93 Active Cruse Control Retrofit Kit
Hey folks,
I have a full kit containing every module you would need to retrofit Radar-Based Active Cruise Control on your E9X car. This consists of: - Radar Module itself - SZL (switches behind the steering wheel) - LDM module Those are extremely rare and it’s almost impossible to find everything in one place. It took me months to hunt down all the required parts and unfortunately I never got to installing it on the car (made a decision to buy a brand new car). Asking price is $4,000. Pickup is available in Turramurra, Sydney |

This is an awesome upgrade for anyone that already has cruise control with braking on their E9X (VO Code $544). I've just finished doing this retrofit recently and absolutely love it.
Although, there are still some things missing to fully complete this kit. From the pics supplied by YorkFieldX, you'll still need to get: - The VW cruise control retrofit harness (about AU$35 from ebay) - A new grill and and sensor surround panel (about AU$150-$200 for both from BMW) that matches whatever bumper you have - I don't know if YorkFieldX has them, but you'll also need Qty 6 mounting screws (3 for the mounting bracket and 3 for the sensor to the bracket which are about AU$6 ea from BMW), and - A harness plug for the LDM module and the Qty 2 mounting screws (which you can get from a wreckers, hunting for a car with an LDM fitted, I don't know how much they will charge, each wrecker is different). Additionally, its probably best to also do an all lights/activity check of your current cars Kombi gauge set to make sure it already has all the required LEDs and settings prebuilt in for Active Cruise Control, otherwise you may need a new/replacement Kombi as well as not all Kombi's are the same. If anyone needs any advice to do the retrofit, I'm happy to help with DIY install and coding instructions. Oh and you'll need to have installed the Rhiengold software suite on a laptop to code your car and a USB K+D CAN cable (about AU$100-$120 for a good quality one, preferably from Bimmergeeks). Until I bought my e92 with active cruise I didn’t know what I was missing.
Now I can’t imagine going on freeway drive without it I recommend it.

Sorry, that’s way below asking price, and stated price of $1500 AUD is final.
I can see you’re from Greece, and international postage can be arranged but definitely at extra cost (I’ve priced it for local sale in Australia). Thank you for understanding |

Thank you for replying to my e-mail. I fully understand your position about the price, as well as the shipping cost you mentioned. Actually through my reduced offering I was trying to cover partially the shipping cost and partially the total cost, if you consider that I only need one of the parts (the metallic base).
Nevertheless I am willing to proceed with the purchase of the kit, so pls let me know how would you like to continue. Thanks again, Best George |
