Never seen red locally here yet. Black, white and grey at the dealer. Every pic of red also varies how it seems (slight orange or deeper red) -look forward to see one in the flesh!
And looking for a bobble-head cylon for the dash I think

I bought the Evolve Stance Kit from the UK that came with 15mm front and 12mm rear spacers.

Excellent, much appreciated mate. Your car looks great. Been thinking about spacers so will check out the Evolves.👍

Added new springs to the spacers today, much happier with the new look.

When it rains it pours, it seems.

Further to the front guard and CF inlet damage posted about earlier, more damage has been found
in the way of rats taking a massive liking to the engine wiring looms. Almost $9,000 to replace.
2 and a half week wait for new looms to arrive.

Starting to think it's cursed!!!

I made the decision to buy the M4 competition convertible and can’t be happier.
I looked at the M2 for a long time but not disappointed.
Will still have the F87 M2Comp whilst working in Melbourne.
The wait will be painful 😣

Hi gang. Getting ready to place an order on an M2 with the carbon seats. Curious what price I should be targeting based on people’s experience? If you’re open to sharing what you paid feel free to post or DM me.

Cheers!

Picked the car up from full PPF from Platinum 1 in Sydney including , ceramic coating of body, wheels inside and out and calipers.
Gosh this is a good operation and the work is phenomenal.

Not sure why the photo is on its side.

I was told by my dealer that my car left the USA 20 days ago en-route to Germany.
Build completed in November.

From there it's another 2 months to get to Sydney.

Anyone know why a car would go from Mexico to Germany before coming down here?
It makes no sense unless there is some sort of compliance / QA checks.
It's a 230 so nothing special.

Starting to get very frustrated

Most of ours did the same route. Have to hang in there, it does seem like an eternity - a lot of us waited 6-9 months after build dates to get our cars, after we placed orders in October ‘22.

There is a shortage of car carrier vessels so it appears that all car carriers are ensuring that the vessel remains as full as possible (at all times). My 2022 Porsche Macan S also did an around the world cruise before finally arriving in Australian waters. No doubt the red sea situation will only add to delivery times as my G87 travelled via Israel on it's way downunder.

Morning All
Long time listener, first time caller!
Just got my BG 6MT M2 last week.
I have been following the posts on order and arrival times.
I feel like I've been smoked a bit! I attended the BMW Show Day in Maroochydore in Feb when they showcased the Zandvoort Blue M2, and ordered one at the start of March 23. I just picked it up last Sat!
The week before that, some people bought the a house in a couple of doors up with the exact same car as mine only its an automatic, but they ordered theirs in April, and it was delivered in Sept.
I'm not sure of how they are allocated...

Hi everyone, my first post and my first M car… M2 G87
Black
Manual
Cognac interior
Bicolour Wheels
Red calipers

My order to taking delivery:
August last year deposit paid
September build allocation confirmation
October build
January 24 2024 delivery

Apart from the dealer giving me the wrong ship name which when docked in Melbourne they then worked out my car was on a different carrier, the purchase to taking delivery seemed smooth and relatively fast… compared with ordering a 911!

The car is awsome…. Worth the wait for all you still waiting for delivery … hang in there
