Dinan Camber Plates for 335d?
I was about to order some Dinan camber plates for my 2011 335D, which has been upgraded with M3 front wishbones, Koni active shocks, and has pins removed. However, for reasons unknown, Dinan does not list the 335D as one of the vehicles on which either of the 2 versions they offer fit.
I also posted a question on the general e90 tech section because Dinan offers both an M3 version and non-M3 version, but never got a good explanation as to what would be different between the 2 versions. I asked the Turner chat tech the same question and was told that it has something to do with the strut towers being different...but from what I see in the photos of the plates, they look essentially the same (but the M version costs $60 more). So, does anyone here use Dinan fixed camber plates? and if so, which version did you go with? Given that the other front suspension parts are interchangeable, I am perplexed as to what could differ within the strut towers of the 335D vs gas or M3 that would not allow the use of camber the same camber plates in all of the E9x vehicles. |

Guys in the FB group running the normal 335i camber plates. I dunno why Tuner would think the strut towers are different. They aren't. E90 is E90.
Plates I've seen mentioned are part # D160-0004
