Priced quite high, will likely depreciate a lot, but seems like a pretty good product. A family member has a Macan S and while I love the sport exhaust, I don't love the tall gearing. The instant torque will be welcome.
Weight is the enemy of handling, so I'm curious to see how these will handle. The current model is a bit understeery at the limit, but I attribute that to the MLB platform.

It will cost you a crazy figure to fix anything on the Taycan out of warranty. There are no independent shops that want to touch EVs and even many Porsche dealers can’t solve the issues. Best option is to lease a new one. |

$60k is too much for a $220k car? The battery has an 8 year warranty. CPO exists. They're good value once they hit $60k or so. They're going to keep dropping like a rock at the current $100-130k prices. Leasing a new one would be like $3k a month lol.

With all these negatives Porsche keeps pumping out the cars and people keep buying them. BAT has always got late model Porsche's selling at over MSRP. I'm thinking the problem is not Porsche but us?

Much rather buy a 911 Turbo, Panamera Turbo or Cayenne Turbo. I will lose much less in depreciation buying those as a CPO than a Taycan, although purchase price is higher. |

The only cars commanding that now are GT cars (ie GT3, GT3RS, GT4RS, specialty models like Dakar, SportClassic) and even those have come crashing down. |

Here is the Taycan page on BAT. I don't know the price history of the Taycan but I suspect they are averaging below MSRP. https://bringatrailer.com/porsche/taycan/ |

A 911 turbo is a great car but one less than 10 years old is going to be $90k+ even for high mileage and I need the extra cargo space for a daily. I’ve had 7 911s, a Macan GTS, and the CTT and PTS so I’m very familiar with all of these. |

They quoted me more than a Rolls for a Cayenne Turbo GT. Laughed heartily.
