245/40/18 all around?

seriously thinking of going with 245/40/18 all around.
going to be going on 18X8.5 ET40 rims on all 4 corners. rears are going to have 15mm spacers.

anyone have any experience with these in the front? i know the back will fit, more concerned about front clearance and rubbing.

tia

245.40.18 is the exact same as a 245.35.19 and people do that all day

You will be ok with that setup as long as you aren't too low in the front

Will likely handle better than OEM as well with some of that Lawyer Calming Understeer dialed out.

yup, thats what i was counting on, less understeer.

i was going to go with 235s all around as i had 2 F1 GS-D3s with 8/32nds left over from my S60R (235/40/18 all around), but after checking the date code on them, they're close to 6 years old now.

i would prefer 245s on 8.5s, only q was front clearance.

the other plus is my speedo will be closer to dead on
