Have not seen any release from BMW stating.that will be an upcoming option (at least not on the base G87).

Supposedly there is a Purple color coming for 2025. But not sure on exact shade. I really want Techno Violet, but I assume the Thundernight Metallic from the M240i will be the one available.

A "sneak peek" picture of the CS was in a purple so take that for what its worth.

I am nearly certain all of those images are rendered. The actual pics in the referenced articles appear to be 100% camo.

Yup...thats why I said taje it for what its worth. I would think the CS would be given a special "release color" that is only available for the CS but who knows if, and what (just hope its better than ZB).

A Special Release Purple for just the CS could be an option. I was referring to the regular paint options rumored for 2025. That is why I assume the Thundernight Metallic will be an option since it is already sprayed on the M240i.

Very surprised the M240i has better color options. Glad though as the M2 does not interest me at all.

In general BMW needs more exciting colors. Give me a green or orange please, something other than grayscale, blue, and red.

I saw this car at the Chicago Auto Show over the weekend. There were a billion people around the car so I couldn't get any pics and I could not see the color listed on the car's sticker plaque. Luckily I found this video of it on youtube.

Is this a new purple color that could be on the M2 as well??

Is it an “iconic BMW M exterior color?” That’s what the CS link above reports any new color will be.

What a tease......the sticker listed prices and options for a few different color configurations but nothing specific. Whatever the case it was working as there were sooo many people drooling over that car.
