I had this same problem with my E90.. I brought it in on Friday after Thanksgiving and my SA told me that he would take care of it. I went back later and I got all new brake pads and rotors.. I had 25k miles with those brakes.. I thought that was a weird way of troubleshooting but fuck it, got me some new brakes.. Problem Solved..

This is a problem with the brakes, but the noise is not actually occurring when braking correct?
My car squeaks occasionally at slow speeds when I'm slowly accelerating and its super embarrassing, but up until now I thought my springs weren't installed perfectly and causing something to squeak. My car also has the dreaded brake pad warning light on right now I wonder if these things are related. I'm looking forward to the service people at BMW coming up with a good excuse to rub me off. |

Same exact shit going on here... I had the dealer take a look and of course they couldnt hear what I had described. I thought it would be dirt or something lodged but who knows???

guys make sure you have your service advisors or a tech ride with you cuz otherwise they're just gonna pull that BS and say "they couldnt hear it" or "we couldnt duplicate it"
thats what i did and thank god when the tech was with me it was doing it |

I have an '07 328i (automatic) and have that squaking noise when going over bumps, turning, etc. I've had it in the dealership twice and they say they can't hear it. Thanks for the advice here -- I'll have them look at it one ore time when it goes in for the next servicing but the noise is horribly irritating...
