Trumpet sound from Tial BOV

Tial BOV is making a trumpet/elephant like sound. Theres definetly a boost leak and my logs show a peak of 14ish psi with a target of 18.6 on mhd stage 2+. I took it to a local shop to have a smoke test done and nothing stood out. Threw a new vacuum line on the bov and checked the chargepipe connections and Im really not sure where its coming from.

Could it be the BOV itself? It sounds bizarre

Cant you get someone to press and release the accelerator while you listen out for it in the engine bay? Is it only happening under load?
