PPF recommendations low budget

Hi All. Just picked up this beauty. But stressed about paint and keeping it perfect. Been looking at ppf options but seems extremely expensive. Been thinking about doing it myself. But front bumper looks very difficult and not having experience with it. But maybe I’ll just have a shop do the front and I can do less difficult areas. Any tips or advice? Matte finish pre cut isn’t available at Xpel. So…

Is your vehicle matte wrapped now? It appears to be or my eyes are tricking me

At the very least, I would do the entire front of the car, including the rocker panels with Xpel Stealth.

You have a beautiful car and I absolutely love the color. If it was me, I would bite the bullet and do allover PPF. 👍🏻

Just booked a good deal with Kavaca and having the matte finish. Full front and rockers and ceramic coating. Can’t afford full car for now

You bought a new BMW but think PPF is too expensive? Something doesn't sound right. Just get the bumper done if you're too stressed about it.

How much are they charging and how many shops did you visit?

Also have them cover the side mirror covers and put clear PPF on the headlights.

This isn’t a matter of stress, not everyone has it in their budget to afford full PPF and there is nothing wrong with the OP doing the entire front. 👍🏻

Read OP's post: he literally mentioned stress.

And you're so right. Buying a brand new BMW, in budget. Spending a little bit of money on PPF? Not in budget.

Yes, he was stressed about keeping the paint perfect and also said the PPF options were expensive. Therefore at this point in time doing just the front with PPF is pushing his budget to the limit.

I personally think that Xpel’s Stealth PPF will give a better match to the paint when you are only protecting the front of the car.

There’s a big price difference. Full front around 2k. And full car 6-7k. So will go with full front for now

Check out the threads in this forum about the different brands of matte/ stealth PPF. There are photos showing how well Xpel’s Stealth matches the frozen paint when you are only applying PPF to the front of the car and other brands did not match the paint as well. 😉

There will be a finish/texture difference between your wrapped and unwrapped sections, especially since you car has matte paint.

There are pictures in another thread showing Xpel Stealth and another brand where it was just the front wrapped with PPF. The Xpel looks great next to the frozen paint and the other brand not quite as good.

Been thinking about that. Considering even just doing ceramic coating.

The ceramic coating won't do anything to your paint if you're worried about keeping it perfect. Spend the two grand and get the front done in PPF.

The OP should do the front and rocker panels in Xpel Stealth which will be the best PPF match to a frozen color.
