Akebono EUR918 vs 918A fitment on LCI

Hi everyone,

Found a great deal on a zimmerman/akebono brake kit for my 2011 335i - only issue is that they're the EUR918 pads, not the updated, 2009+, 918A's.

From my understanding the only difference is clips on them, and I saw a thread stating BMW themselves said they could be used interchangeably... not sure if that goes both ways though.

Has anyone used EUR918's on cars that they only fit with 918A's? Thank you very much.
