N54 running hot
Every time I drive my 335 for about 30 -45 mins of regular driving it gets up to temps of 250°. This is happening in just 60° weather. Everytime it’s hit 250 I turned the car off So i wouldn’t know if the temps would go past 250. My fan is turning on and the coolant level is normal. I’ve had dual cone intakes on for about a year and my car just started doing this. My car would usually run about 220 to 230 degrees. Any suggestions on why it would be running so hot with regular driving?

Oil or coolant temp? The oil temp displayed on the cluster 250° isn't an issue really. If you're monitoring coolant temp and it's hitting that then you have a problem and you should have a light on the cluster going crazy.

My N54 in my 135i hits 250 all the time. Particularly during highway driving. It never goes higher than that though. Funny enough it will stay cooler during city driving. From what I’ve read over the years, that’s just how the cooling in these engines work.
