N51 Died While Driving, Now Rough Idle and CODES!

*Preface this by saying I spent over an hour searching the forums on the the VANOS topic and learning what everyone has done and knowledge provided. I was not able to find a topic that has the scenario we are experiencing*

2007 328i N51 (SULEV) with 143,600 miles
Modes: Headers, no cats, no muffler, Injen Technology CAI

Was driving and car died, upon restart severe rough idle and almost no acceleration. Towed home and attempted again the next day, still rough idle but was able to drive like in limp mode.

Local shop pulled the following codes:
  • 2ADA - EAC Sensor Electrical Fault
  • 29F4 - Catalytic Converter Conversion
  • 29F5 - Catalytic Converter Conversion 2
  • 2C6C - O2 Sensor After Catalyst 2, System Check
  • 2C3F - Control Unit, Internal Fault O2 Sensor, Evaluation Module
  • 2C9C - O2 Sensor Heating Before Of Catalyst, Actuation
  • 2C9D - O2 Sensor Heating Before Catalyst 2, Actuation
  • 2C9E - O2 Sensor Heating After Of Catalyst, Actuation
  • 2C9F - O2 Sensor Heating After Catalyst 2, Actuation
  • 2A82 - VANOS Inlet
  • 29CD - Combustion Misfire on Cylinder 1
  • 29CE - Combustion Misfire on Cylinder 2
  • 29CC - Combustion Misfire on Several Cylinders
  • 29D1 - Combustion Misfire on Cylinder 5
  • 29D2 - Combustion Misfire on Cylinder 6

I have replaced both the intake and exhaust vanos solenoids, oil change to include new filter. The rough idle isn't near as bad but the car still idles and drives as though it is not on all cylinders.

I am at a loss at this point and am asking for some insight as to what I need to look at next. I will be pulling the vanos filters this afternoon and checking the condition and cleaning as needed, as this was a result of the forum search. i have noticed weeping around the valvetronic motor on the side of the intake cover, not sure if this contributes to this issue, wouldn't think so.

Thanks in advance.

UPDATE:

Cleaned the vanos filters, didn't see much to be concerned with but at least they are clean. Reset all the codes and started it and took it for a drive, still drives like it is in limp mode and smoked periodically while driving for the 10 minute duration.

Pulled codes after the drive and this is what I am now getting, no VANOS code but is still is running like crap.
• 2E7C - BSD Data Bus Communications Fault
• 2C3F - Control Unit, Internal Fault O2 Sensor, Evaluation Module
• 29CD - Combustion Misfire on Cylinder 1
• 2C9C - O2 Sensor Heating Before Of Catalyst, Actuation
• 2C9D - O2 Sensor Heating Before Catalyst 2, Actuation
• 2C9E - O2 Sensor Heating After Of Catalyst, Actuation
• 2C9F - O2 Sensor Heating After Catalyst 2, Actuation
