Took a run down to Cornwall a couple of weeks ago. Managed 57.7 mpg. Computer was suggesting nearly 800 miles to a tank! Well impressed with that.

Some nice MPG from those D's. My petrol E91318i LCI seems to get an average of around 38,mpg with mixed driving.

Gonna replace the o2 sensors, air mass and thermostat to see if I can get better

I've noticed perhaps a 3mpg drop since I've been using E10 on my 2010 N53 325i E91. I only switched to regular unleaded a few months prior to E10 being introduced but I think I'm going to move back to Super and see if the MPG gets back to 36-37mpg on longer runs. Will keep you posted

Just updating this. I've run V-Power on the car from day 1 but as it's not exactly a supercar I switched to regular Shell last summer and can't say I noticed any drop in MPG: on a long run I'd still get 37-38mpg (worked out by maths, not the dash display), and in fact my best MPG is on regular Shell. Once E10 was rolled out I noticed that I was getting more like 33mpg from a typical tank so I switched back to V-Power for the last two fills and have just got a 37mpg from a long run. Think I'll stick with super going forwards.

Yup, i lost some MPG with E10 fuel, so have switched to E5.

Just come back from a short break in the Lake District. 300 miles each way and a calculated 57.9 mpg. That's my record with this car and I wasn't doing anything special, just cruise control set to 75.

2011 330D N57 E93. All local B road driving, some A road in the last couple years 34Mpg. Back when I commuted everyday on A roads is was 38/39Mpg. On long motorway trips it can get into the 50's. My foot is too heavy to get it better

Get 37-39MPG on motorway, but also do quite a bit of sport-start in town.
Overall I reckon 32.8 mpg (brim ti brim). Journey Computer is about 5% optimistic.
Use BP Ultimate whenever possible.

Got my best economy ever the other day going to and from the Lake District from the south of England - 58 mpg from a 2010 320d.

Don’t really do the MPG thing and tend to base averages off of overall distance per tank travelled regardless of type of roads, but in general my 32 mile round trip commute four days a week and minimal weekend pottering about will see a tank return of around 500-520 miles.

I did however do a long run last week; Glasgow to South Wales and back which saw 620 out of one full tank and the overall distance was 938 miles. I had a gnats chuff just under half a tank left when I got home so pretty pleased considering it’s a 2009 318i petrol and not diesel. 600 on long motorway runs is fairly easily achieved when sensible.
