My question is I downloaded the Map, have the FSC ready, but not the recent lookup.xml file that shows this map in the (dropdown) list. Even though a new one is generated by the program. How do you manage this ? Where do you download it or what changes do you make inside the file to get the right key?

There is no aftermarket solution for LIVE Map FSC Code. Best option is to just buy map update via ConnectedDrive Portal.
