Anyway to fix my Curb Rash?!

So I was parallel parking at my gf's house today and just knicked the effen curb and scratched up my rim. My question is, is there any quick easy fix for this? Could I wet sand it with a fine grit or would that harm the rim's finish? I'm really anal about my car (duhh, arent we all?) but this is really killing me. The rash is about 2" long if not less. i found a handful of threads about son tran, and yeah thats not looking too likely. But ill DIY, fine grit wet sand and smoothen it out. ive got plans for these rims anyways, i doubt theyll be staying that color after i ae them off for winter.
