IS THERE SOMEONE RUNNING 18x9.5 ET35 ON e91???
Hi
I have read tons of forums and i cant find anything about 9.5j et35. Is there someone who could give me some advice if there will be problems fitting those rims on a stock suspension e91 pre lci…especially the front. Im planning on running 235/40/18 tyres…maybe some wider tyres on the rear. Will there be any rubbing without spacers? |

I’m not positive but you might hit the spring perch.
I’m currently in the process of fitting 17x9.5j on my e92 lci x drive. 9.5 is kind of a pain in the ass in the front and 9in would be better, 8.5 no stress. I’m not very familiar I with the differences between rwd and awd front struts but they are different. Based on my experience, the 9.5 needed 8mm of spacer and maxed out camber on my coilovers with linear springs on the lowest settings. When I had h&r coils with progressive springs (similar to stock diameter) the 9.5 wouldn’t fit. With the HRs I wasn’t much lower than a sport rwd suspension, but maybe stock height gives more space? The other difference between our cars, is I believe my front fenders are plastic and yours are metal so you have the ability to roll them I would think. Check out apex wheel figment guides. They’re probably more helpful than anything I’ve said. However, I will make a post with my wheel set up after I get my alignment done. Hopefully next week. |
