add e85 to fix timing corrections MHD
Quick question, I believe I got some bad 93 oct in my car. My prior logs have all been great , very little to no timing corrections. However after filling up this last time I have some corrections across all 6 cylinders which I believe could be due to poor quality 93 . Could I safely add like 2-3 gallons of E85 to my tank to try and up the octane and see if it will help with the timing corrections?
Currently have MHD stage 2+ , all maintenance up to date. Dci's , intercooler, downpipes. Running v8 93oct stage 2+ map on MHD . Thanks in advance!! |

You think like 2-3 gallons with the rest 93 would be good enough, and safe? |

Yeah, no issue adding some ethanol to a tank of gas. The car will compensate fueling needs and you'll get back the octane you lost.
