Best Suspension for E93 335i

Hey guys, a few months ago around mid October, I bought a 2009 E93 335i. I love the car and everything about it is great. My issue however is that the previous owner, rather than buying lowering springs, decided to just cut the springs instead. Because of this the car is extremely uncomfortable over imperfections in the road like cracks and small holes. My question is what suspension should I get to be a little lower than stock ride height while also being fairly comfortable still. I’ve seen on a couple forums that Bilstein and Koni are good options but I thought I’d get some input before making any decisions. I’m willing to buy whatever is necessary, shocks, springs, bushings etc as long as it’s worth it. Any help is appreciated thank you! P.S. the car doesn’t have M Sport suspension.

Bilstein B4 paired with either Msport springs (-15mm) or paired with Eibach Pro-kit springs (-30mm)

both heights compared to original springs

Springs:
Eibach pro (minimal drop)
H&R Sport (a bit more but reasonable drop)

Shocks:
Bilstein Sport (stiffer, non adjustable)
Koni yellow (more plush, adjustable)
Koni orange (non adjustable, a little stiffer than OE and capable of lowering springs)

Hey I'm using TC Klein kit on my car now with #400 front spring #700 on my E93...works well....compliant enough and stiff enough...I would if I were you a stiffer rear swayer...stock too soft. that made a big difference and also front but most people seem to do that early on... and if your going that far the add the M3 subframe bushings

This is my 3rd attempt and I think its just what it should be for this car.

I appreciate the responses, got the Koni FSD (Red) with Eibach springs, looking forward to installing them. For anyone who’s done this before, anything I should know that might be helpful going into it?

Replace your top hats, upper and lower shock mounts, and all the hardware. Don't let your brake calipers hang which damages the rubber lines. Also, buy this tool.

Did you get these installed yet? I'm interested in hearing how they work out.

I have several threads documenting my E93 strut/shock replacement issue. I have a pre-LCI E93 335i and replaced the shocks and struts a few months ago with Bilstein B4 (for sport suspension) and the ride is crap. Rear feels fine but the front is all over the place and feels sloppy over rough roads. I

I have OEM front D8 springs, and I get lots of bounce as if it feels under dampened. I'm thinking of swapping to Koni yellows. Bilstein says these same struts fit ALL E9x models with sport suspension, even though the e93 335i and e90 335d use stiffer springs. I have the same exact struts on my 330i and that car feels incredible, so it's either a mismatch for the firmer 335i springs or a manufacturing defect on these B4s on my 335.

Not yet hopefully by the end of the month. I’ll let you guys know how it rides and drop some pics of the ride height 🙌🙌
