Ccv/Pcv valve missing, hose punched close by previous owner helppp urgent
Hello all, please this is very important,
i bought my bmw e90 320i with n46 engine 2 years ago, i noticed oil leak every now and then but never took it serious until few days ago when i changed my engine oil and took it on highway for spin, touched 150 km/hr and came back home, next day i saw almost 100-200 ml of oil leak under the passenger side, it got me worried, i put my car on the jack and there was a oil near the engine mount area passenger side but i couldn't find any leaked gaskets, but i saw something which i didn't know what was that. i saw a pipe coming out of engine oil pan and it was pinched closed by some pliers,(images attached below for reference) i googled it and found out that its some kind of hose for pcv/ccv valve something and i have no idea whats that for. previous owner had already cut it off and possibly oil is leaking from there, now my question is i've been driving my car like that since 2 years, apart from oil leaks i didn't notice anything else. can it effect the engine knowing that some part is not operating as it should be or should i stop driving my car? please help images are attached below so you can understand what i am talking about. thanks alottt Last edited by meelicious; 04-25-2024 at 03:22 AM..
