Standard BMW alloys

Hi all, Ive not long bought a 2011 E90 (316d if you are wondering, yes very slow!) and it came with some 16" alloys which are in such bad shape that the seller had simply sprayed them black with a rattle can and every time the car gets a pressure wash more black paint comes off..lol

So, as I don't care much for the 16's I was wondering what other standard BMW alloys fit the E90 - are most modern bmw 5 studs interchangeable? Ideally I'd like some run of the mill standard looking, cheap 18's but not sure which ones fit the E90.

I'd be grateful if someone could advise.

Many thanks

Ps these are the type I have currently (not mine though):

When you do find replacements £200 will see those 16” ones re-powder coated. Chuck a set of winter tyres on those and hey presto easy swap come the season. .Ok a bit of initial outlay but it’s great for stretching out life on tyres plus gives you safer winter drive.

Note, I have those exact wheels as my winter set.

Yes good call, they do look quite good in black if you look past the condition. What rims do you use for the rest of the year then?

I’ve got these (also 17”) powder coated in BMW Orbit Grey.

V Spoke

Look past the roughness of these, factor in a full refurb (£200-250) plus 4x tyres and there’s your summer set.. all up £800ish

Oh 8j, nice. Any issues with wheels that wide on the E90 then? Were they off an e90 or are they known as being from some other shape?sorry for the questions, I've got a lot to learn.

I've just seen theres a whole section on wheels and tyres elsewhere on these forums- it's a bloody big site.
