Touchless Car Wash in Scottsdale AZ?

Is there a touchless car wash in Scottsdale, AZ? I haven't found one. I plan to regularly hand-wash my 2022 X3, but just in case...

There is one here:

Motor City Auto Wash
17601 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032

If you're in North Scottsdale, it's maybe a 10 minute drive.

I don't believe there is a touchless wash in Scottsdale

That location has an automated touchless wash (in addition to hand wash)

There's also one in Fountain Hills which may be closer to you depending on where you are in Scottsdale...

I live in NE Scottsdale, close to Fountain Hills. Do you happen to know the one in Fountain Hills? Cheers!

Edited to add: Google found me two in Fountain Hills. Parkview Car Wash and Finish Line Car Wash. The latter was opened 3 months ago, it seems.

Parkview is the one I've been too. It's very well maintained.

It's a nice drive also

I live by Kierland so FH is a bit of a run for me unless I am going to the Mayo Clinic or golf at Eagle Mountain.

Anyone know of a wand wash in or around Troon North? I can’t find any here or anything close by.

Is touch less really much better? For my little fleet I typically hand wash and touch up in between at the splash and dash.

In the same breath regarding car care, I saw a bunch of professional detailing guys at the Barrett-Jackson show this Saturday. Getting cars ready to be auctioned.

Random question: why do non-touchless (the old brushes) car washes still exist?
i get that the wash company wouldn't want to replace them until they break/wear out.
But how come the consumer is willing to let their car paint be beaten up by the brushes?

Makes zero sense to me either. Uneducated as to the harm it causes is my guess.

It's not that cut & dry guys. Pros & cons to every wash style. If you google search &/or search on YouTube you'll find plenty of 'con' points of view on touchless systems.

I prefer cleaning in this order:

- Hand wash myself @ home
- Hand wand pressure & brush wash at self-serve car washes
- Brush style automatic car wash places

*- Touchless would be my last resort as I've had them blow factory decals off a vehicle I owned in the past & have had friends / coworkers that have had various trim pieces removed from their rides in touchless wash racks.

The list of 'cons' as stated by pro detailers & DIY folks alike seems to be these things:

- Hard pressure required forces water into places it probably wouldn't otherwise ever be

- Touchless systems need to use harsh chemicals in the process

- Can force surface dirt across car surfaces under very high pressure

There are Laser car washes where I live. Nothing but water, soap, and air touch the car. It's not great at removing heavy dirt and brake dust, but when I don't have time to do a full hand wash myself it's a convenient option. They are usually located at either a Chevron or Mobile station.

Garage List
Just a slight threadjack to give a tip on a local (Chandler) guy who does bumper repairs and other minor cosmetic stuff, at a fraction of the cost of a conventional body shop. Been in business for 15 years, does IMPECCABLE work, and is a savior. I'm having to use him again for the first time since he got started. If you need some kind of cosmetic repair and are in the Phx area, look no further. NO connection, just a very happy repeat customer...
