So i got my new V-35 Hood...

Hey guys...So I received my new Vorsteiner V-35 Hood today for my E93 335i...
Hood looks amazing and will be going into the body shop tomorrow morning...Only problem is...I order Sealed Vents to prevent my engine from getting dirty...*Which is always kept practically spotless*...only to recieve the hood with open vents -_-...I'm gonna have to bring it to the shop tomorrow so that they can 1) Fabricate in a bracket for my Oem shocks & 2) Seal the vents...Thank you Jlevi creating such a sick hood...but you'll be hearing from me tomorrow morning about the vents which I insisted on being closed and was told everything would be ok...after waiting 3 months n almost a grand n a half...to recieve the wrong order......Any suggestions on how i should seal the vents?

Sorry to be OT, but dont sealed vents defeat the purpose of a vented hood?

careful on the mounting the shocks to the hood. Normally you don't run them because the hood is very light and it may crack that area.

i think u should leave the vents exposed....cuz even tho it may get dirty, it really does help to allow heat to leave the engine bay; a lot of heat i must say. i love the design and even if ur intake or engine bay may get wet a bit, its not gonna damage ne thing inside, but if u're really scared/picky about ur engine bay gettin wet/dirty, then go ahead and seal it, but for me, its the summer, i'll worry about sealing it or ne thing wen it rains later.

Glad to hear you received the hood and I am very sorry about the closed vent option. Please do drop me an email so I can follow up with Vorsteiner about the problem.
