stuck hose clamp?

I am trying to replace the upper hose on a 2013 328i convertible. Yes, I pulled the wire, and two of the three connectors will slide off. But the one that goes to the radiator just will not budge. Twisting it doesn't work - to the point where I worry I'm going to break off the inlet to the radiator. Any trick for this?

Thanks.

Well, I finally got it off without damaging the radiator.

I don't understand the utility of this clip/hose system. Hose clamps have held hoses on since Moses was in high school and they worked fine.

But then I also don't understand why this thermostat I'm installing looks like a prototype of the Jarvic-7. Or why I can't push a button on the door to lock my car. Or why sometimes I have to use the handle twice to get out of the car. Or why I need to use a key AND push a different button to start it.

My first BMW since my 1984 535, sorry for the rant.

This thermostat/water pump replacement is just awful for somebody like me with big hands.
