I ended up just buying the kit from Denmark. The company is called Schmiedmann. The alpine kit available currently is for the X1 but it works perfectly on the 2011 335i.

Did you have the base audio? Got a link to the part? I have a 2011 335i as well.

Alpine Hifi Kit: 65-41-2-167-061

To complete the experience, I recommend you get the hifi subwoofers too. Make sure you get the casing for the subwoofer because on the base audio BMW's the casing is glued onto the subs. I managed to use the stock casing but had to heat gun the old subs out, drill new holes, then had to get 1/2 inch foam weather stripping from home depot to prevent the subs from bottoming out. I also had to Dremel a bit of plastic away. Just save yourself the trouble and get the casing. I think a guy on offerup is selling it.

It took me forever to find this part. I am glad to be able to pass the knowledge on. This kit is for base audio. You can tell that you have base audio if you do not have any tweeters on the doors.

Sorry that I am replying so late. Yes, it is all plug and play. No wire-stripping required with the part number I provided you with. It does take a while to install, that's really about it.

I will have one.
I ordered it for one moron from this forum, delivery was delayed because of all this situation and this idiot filed a claim on PayPal for not getting it even before the estimated time. So when I get it, I can sell it to someone else.

So you don't have to glue any wires etc for this kit? I also found this one as being available and I'm trying to find if for sure works PnP for E90 or not.
