Angel eyes light bulb housing - missing part in ETK?
Hi everyone,
I used the search but didn't find an answer. If it has been already discussed - please, send me a link to the thread. I have euro e91, 2007 model with xenon ZKW headlights. A previous owner installed some chip chinese light bulbs for angel eyes and I'm trying to replace them with OEM Apparently, when you install LED bulbs, you should get rid of this part of the housing: https://i.onthe.io/smngoz1ad8ksiuu7to.b12145e8.jpg I even found a video on YouTube where this process is shown (start at 2:53) Without this glass (?) element, the OE light bulb literally melts the angel eye because it heats so much As I found out, the missing part of the bulb housing can't be purchased new (for some reason it doesn't exist in ETK at all). At the same time, for Valeo headlights this housing can be purchased as a complete unit: https://i.onthe.io/smngoz33r3jc5m232g.3e083afe.jpg I tried to find the missing element on the used market, but I don't know how to call it correctly, and thus don't get any good search results. If anyone has those things lying around, I'll be glad to buy them Last edited by biocargo; 03-29-2024 at 10:08 AM.. |
