Audison Bit DMI

Good afternoon,

I have an E91 which I have now carried out an audison install on. I have fitted an Audison Bit DMI to utilize the MOST connection so it can work with oem system and my MOST carplay system. I have coded the CIC to logic 7 but I am still not getting any sound through the system.

Has anyone on here fitted a DMI?

i believe that Audison Bit DMI and HK amp have common destination addess on MOST, so you cannot have both of them on one ring.
The correct setup would be:
Carplay BOX AUX out -> CIC or Combox AUX-IN -> CIC MOST out -> HK amp

I have the standard system not HK
I have a CarPlay that uses MOST not aux

So I have it setup
CIC-carplay- combox- bit dmi which will then fire up my audio system

so you have cic and carplay box and audison on one MOST ring ?
I would advise to disconnect carplay box from MOST (but keep MOST ring closed) to check if CIC simply work with audison.

I’ll give that a go. Many people have used it on the e9x platform but I think I am the first to use with the MOST car play system

Did you ever get this working ? I have a bit DMi in my F20 but the concept is the same for all BMW's. I did the install myself so may be able to help you.

The first step is to eliminate the Carplay box from the MOST ring and get the DMi talking to the CIC. Make sure you've observed the polarity arrows for the ring. Make sure you can see the red light flashing at the connector to the DMi.

Guessing the DMi is running the latest firmware and you have configured the unit for BMW ?
