I think most guys are trying to use smart jump packs or tenders to jump the car from the terminals in the bay. Those packs won’t do the job because they sense the open circuit. You have to hook jumper cables up to a spare battery or another car’s batter and you’ll be able to pop the trunk using the fob or the button inside the cabin. I did it just the other day when I locked myself out.

Me to LMAO, except this time at the people either don't read the post or don't know what they are talking about. The idiot here is the one who is "LMAO" at something he has no clue about. I guess this is the difference between a "smart ass" comment and a "dumb ass" one huh.

Those portable jump packs do work but I think it needs to have a boost button. I’ve tested another portable jump pack which didn’t work. Nor did a 25amp battery tender. Otherwise you need a jump from another car or 12v car battery.
