High Performance Street/Light Track pad recommendations for e90?

Starting off-- not my car but my 17 year old nephews, so I'm not super-sharp on e90's.

He has a 2010 328ix w/ MT (and that nutty SULEV engine) that he's nutty about taking to HPDE's.

He did his first one last year and got hooked. This year (still in Novice class), he managed to glaze his aftermarket (OEM-equivalent) pads (rotors are fine) and introduce a bit of "sponginess" in the system despite having a recent fluid flush.

We're going to take the pads off this week and sand the glaze off (assuming no cracking, etc.), but we discussed brake energy and things he can do to help.

I mentioned burning up the (recently replaced a year ago) rotors and considering stainless lines, better fluid (I'm partial to RBF 600 in my M2C) and better pads.

Since this is his first car and he doesn't have the funds, equipment or knowledge (yet) to swap wheels/pads/fluid every time, he needs a high-performance street pad that'll handle a couple days of HPDE a year.

Since my pad of choice (Ferrodo DS2500/1.1's) are well out of his price range, I'm looking for some suggestions as I haven't been keeping up with what's out there for the e90.

Any suggestions?

TIA--

R.

I've had good luck with Stoptech 309 Sport pads.

I get 10+ track days out of them, and they work fine on the street, including winter.

Maybe consider EBC pads also?

I run their Red pad, which is a road only pad made for low dust. Their Yellow pad can handle a bit of track running, but their Blue might be most suitable.
