Stalls on warm startup 335i

Hello!
First time posting here so i hope its in the correct place. Been reading alot on the forum and now its my time to ask for help.

I have a 2011 335i dct, i like the car alot but a problem have come up and i have no idea what it is. The car will die after startup but only sometimes.

If i go out and start the car in the morning it will fire right up. Can have a bit of small shakes/vibrations as it idles but stays on.

If i go for a ride and let the engine get warm and the turn of the car, if i try to start it again it will start but die, just like it cuts of fuel and throw a code, then if i try again it will start and run but as soon as i clear the code it will die on startup untill it throw the code.

The codes i get are either 2c01 OR 2BDE and 2BFO shadow codes

I have replaced the battery 2 week ago
New fuel pressure regulator

I was thinking about HPFP but i have good rail pressure when doing a pull, and to me it seems more like an electrical thing just becuase it works when the codes come but as soon as i clears them it will die

Sorry if my english is a bit bad

IMO this still points to an HPFP issue. Usually the first symptom when they start to go is long cranks and often first when warm. Likely the issue will get worse until it’s a little more clear to diagnose but this seems like a classic HPFP starting to die scenario

Take a log of a warm start and see if the rail pressure tanks before it stalls.

Rail pressure does drop when hot, what i find weird is as soon as the codes comes it works like normal

That is super strange. As far as I know a software issue can't really cause that since the HPFP is essentially mechanically driven (though there's more to it that I don't fully understand). Is the HPFP original?

Update

Cleaned both vanos solenoids today without any result. I dont get why i get those codes now? The only thing i did was replace 2 vaccumhoses.
I get a couple diffrent code, sometimes 2c58 and 2da0, Other times 2c58 and 3011. My car has the updated bolt to the vanos unit so i dont think it can be that. Only thing i can come up with is if the timing chain has slipped a teeth...

Could be when the EKPS heats up it kills the fuel. Have you checked your low fuel pressure?

Very good possibility, I didn’t even think of that. When my EKP died I did have both LPFP and HPFP codes
