Hi all,
I drive a 2009 N54 335i.
I have an issue with my gearbox kicking when shifting between 4th and 5th gear.
Instead of looking for the issue, I want to replace the gearbox with one that has lower mileage. My problem is that the car was imported from the USA to Europe, and I can't find a gearbox with the specific part number in my country (24007572071). Will it work if I just buy a gearbox from any other N54 335i and put it in my car?

Yes, another rwd e9x n54 trans can be swapped into yours, though I would certainly try to service yours first. There are a number of parts that are easy to replace and commonly wear leading to lazy clunky shifts when an entire new trans may not be needed.
