Testing DISA on 328i

Hi guys this is my first post here.
So I have a 2007 328i and i’m about to put in a 3 stage intake manifold off a junkyard 330i. The manifold came with DISA's and i've heard you cannot test the DISA's with the stock 328i profile. You need to flash to the 330i profile. Anyways I was wondering if there would be any harm flashing my car before installing the 3 stage intake manifold. My concern is that the DISA's don't work and I have to order new ones and have to drive my car with the 330i flash. If anyone is experienced with this I would really appreciate the help

Did you try with INPA?
I’m pretty sure I didn’t flash until I had two tested working DISAs.

I‘ve tested them by connecting them and revving my engine. They open all the way but barely close. Even after cracking them open and cleaning them.
I’m gonna test with INPA today though. Yours would fully open and close on a stock 328i profile?

Only one of the four I got from the junkyard worked.

I tested them with the Bimmer Geeks DCAN cable in INPA.

I don’t know how they are supposed to react when revving the engine, sorry

Yeah when you test using INPA they should fully open and fully close. I bought a junkyard manifold from eBay and both of the DISA's were bad when I tested them.

appreciate it. I didn’t know if they should fully open with INPA before the 330i flash.
turns out they do. I just bought new DISAS off amazon. hopefully they last at least a year.
