Help with E60 CCC > CIC Retrofit SA676 Hi-fi Sound & Amplifer issue

I am after some help, I have retrofitted a CIC in to my euro 08 LCI E60 which had a CCC with Hi-Fi sound option 676. After the retrofit the sound of the warning bongs, PDC, radio and general music sound is so much softer and you have to turn up the volume, but there is no power in it.

Looking online there is an issue with cars with Hi-Fi 676 where there was an amplifier change when the CIC came in, but I can't really find a solution to it. There is a suggestion of fitting the CIC amp, but I can't find any instructions on how to do this as I presume I would need to make a fly lead to adapt from the CCC plug to that of the CIC for the amp, and/or you re-pin it.

So can anybody assist with what is required to get a the CCC sound quality back?

There is no CIC Amp. Your talking about a logic 7 amp you dont need to do that. What coding did you do?

It isn't a coding issue, I had it coded correctly to my VIN.

Here is the issue in another forum:

Here is the amp: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=65_1313

Ok. I see the e60 hifi amps are quite different compared to e9x's

Looks like the answers are there as you showed me but have you posted in https://e60.5post.com/forums/

Yes, there isn't really an equivalent forum for the E60. I couldn't really make sense of what they did in the other forum and was hoping that someone had an up to date explanation of a way of fixing it and running the CIC amp. Given it will be a common issue, maybe someone by now is making a wiring kit to address it?

Thanks anyway.

the key difference between e60 pre-cic hifi amp and others that e60 ccc powered door speakers and small hifi amp powered bass
the e90 and e70 cic with hifi - from cic to amp goes low-level signal and amp powers all speakers
so even if you want to put CIC HIFI amp, you will also have to do rewiring or additional wiring to the amp
there are plenty of CIC HIFI amps on junkyards as well
most of them from E70 or E90, but from E60 also there are

I am now wondering if this would get it better.

it will but also will require heavy rewiring, because you have to route door wires to rear of the car
