Help with 2009 bmw 328i aftermarket stereo install
I have heated seats but the buttons are down below and not with the hvac. I have speakers in the front doors and in the back window. I also have tweeters. What parts would i need to install an after market pioneer and subs in the back

If you havea US 2009 you have either the 676 Hi Fi option or the 688 Logic 7
option . This is a combination of speakers and amplifiers . See the links for details. Hi Fi = 10 speakers tweeters count as speakers . two underseat 8 inch speaker , 8 door rear door or shelf speakers . Top Hi Fi or Logic 7 9 channel amp with 13 speakers center speaker in dash and both the rear doors and shelf have speakers. Logic 7 is hard to modify because to the fiberoptic connection to the amp . SOS error's will appear on both if the Head unit is removed and the Most Bus connection is broken. SOS function must be programmed out to not be irritating with aftermarket equipment. Establish which system you have by running Mdecoder.com on your Vin and looking for the option numbers. Heated seat are not an issue with a stereo install. There is aftermarket speakers that are direct fit . A lot of speakers won't fit because of size and depth issue's . Aftermarket head units can be difficult to install on these. After reading all of the wonderful info you have provided, i have concluded i have the regular hi-fi not the logic 7. I only want to replace the head unit with a single din pioneer stereo. And i want to add my two kicker 12 subwoofers in the trunk i have a 1000w amp already hooked up to the subs. What wire harness would i need to hook up the single din pioneer?

I don't usually deal with aftermarket head units .
Connects 2 is a brand that retains the chimes and may suppress the SOS error for a head unit harness . Technicpnp.com makes and add a sub harness to go in between the Amp and factory wire harness. The factory Hi Fi system is very weak . Especially the amp Bypassing the under seat is mistake if you want mid range. This is not like adding a stereo to pre 2000 car. |

I found the right wire harness that you can use for hi-fi no digital optical.
https://a.co/d/f9MPlIH This will allow you to hook up an aftermarket stereo. |
